DSN Free Call Day Dialing Instructions

To place a call using DSN on Free Call Days (FCD):

  1. Contact The VFW Operation Uplink DSN Support Line at 816-968-1102 or 816-968-1155
    or by email at uplink@vfw.org
  2. If you are unable to contact the VFW, call the SPAWAR Customer Service Center at 866-599-6078
  3. Ask the VFW or SPAWAR Customer Service Representative for your DSN Access Number and PIN
  4. Call the automated DSN to toll free access number at 809-463-3376 if you get a busy signal
  5. Call a Global DSN Operator at 312-560-1110 and if you get a busy signal
  6. Click here to find your regional directory number
  7. Provide or enter the access number you were provided.
    Remember to enter “1” prior to dialing the access number when using the DSN to toll free access number
  8. Once connected, Enter the DSN Access PIN you were provided
  9. After entering your DSN Access PIN, dial your destination number. Your call should be processed. If you dialed an operator, remember morale calls are often capped at 10-15 minutes so that others can connect.
  10. Please Note: These Free Call Day PINs will not work except on Free Call Days from Midnight to Midnight EST
  11. You may share your FCD DSN Access Number and PIN with others in your unit
  12. f you have any problems with your DSN call, ask your DSN operator to connect you with the DSN Trouble Desk.  If you have a problem with dialing the DSN access number you were provided, have your operator connect you with the SPAWAR Customer Service Center at 800-599-6078.
